Job Requirements:

  • Plan, organize, implement, & evaluate daily camp activities

  • Supervise participants, ensure safety, enforce rules, follow discipline guidelines, provide basic first aid, and resolve problems as needed

  • Effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, campers, and parents

  • Set-up & clean-up camp activities, lunch, snacks, and the facility

  • Staff must be creative, enthusiastic, caring, mature and responsible

  • Counselors need to be team players, energetic & actively engaged in activities ·Staff ages 21 and older will be responsible for the transportation of participants in a 15 passenger van

  • Other related duties as assigned



  • Minimum age 18

  • At least 2 years of experience working with children preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Applicants are preferred to be available for the entire camp season: June 6-August 19

  • Must be available for preseason training in late May and early June

  • Counselors ages 21 and older must pass a driver’s abstract

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain LAN and back-up system

  • Support in-house computers, peripherals, software and audio visual equipment
  • Work with vendors to facilitate IT projects, purchases and equipment maintenance
  • Support in-house communication, proxy card and security camera systems
  • Promptly address staff and patron IT inquiries  
  • Provide staff and patron training
  • Research and implement new technologies to enhance Library services 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Adept at working with servers, switches, firewalls, personal computers, peripherals, Windows operating systems, mobile devices and applications
  • Skilled in repair and maintenance of personal computers and other electronic equipment
  • Familiar with image-based back-up
  • Uses verbal, written and electronic communication effectively
  • Works collaboratively as a member of a team and independently with minimal direction
  • Skilled in vendor relations, including but not limited to technical support, service contract review and negotiation
  • Knowledge of integrated library systems (ILS)
  • Ability to forecast IT needs and costs

Warehouse Worker - Picking, Shipping, Receiving


OPTIBELT Corporationis seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker - Picking, Shipping, Receiving to join our team in Carol Stream, IL.

Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for receiving container shipments, storing, picking and distributing materials and product. You are also responsible for initiating and/or implementing corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction are achieved by performing the following duties. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. OPTIBELT is selling premium products hence detailed orientated and high quality work is critical.


Job Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Loads and unloads trucks
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code or packing products
  • Marks materials with identifying information for shipping and/or receiving
  • Cleans and maintain a clean work area
  • Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
  • Completes daily logs
  • Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out operating splicing and/or cutting machine
  • Driving a forklift (5% of regular working hours)


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ years' previous experience


Skills and Abilities:

  • Punctual and dependable
  • Very good organizational skills
  • Ability to think logically


Compensation and Benefits:

  • $12.25 per hour + max bonus $1.44

Distribution Coordinator:

Shipping/Receiving and Order Picking/Pulling:

Place incoming merchandise into inventory

Conduct physical inventories as required

Operate fork lifts to unload trucks.

Performs additional duties as directed




General knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc.  Equal to a high school diploma.

Prior experience working in a distribution center a plus. Warehouse Certificationand Operations Certification also a plus.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.

Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.

Must have a good attention to detail.

Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. 

Ability to work all overtime hours
