    Part-time Youth Services Clerk

    We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and organized Youth Services Clerk to join the Youth Services Team.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

     

    • Prepare materials and make copies for Department programs

    • Provide service to customers during the Summer Reading Program

    • Clean and maintain Department games and toys

    • Shelf read collections

    • Assist with displays, decorations and program

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

     

    • Organizational skills to prepare materials and maintain records

    • Attention to detail and accuracy

    • Collaborates as a team member

    • Works well independently

    • Communicates effectively

    • Proficiency in using a personal computer and Microsoft Office Suite

    Part-time Materials Clerk

    We are currently seeking a detail-focused Materials Clerk to join the Circulation Department.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

    • Empty book drops

    • Check in, sort and route materials

       

    Qualifications:

     

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites

    • Strong organizational skills

    • Basic problem-solving skills

    • Understanding of the Dewey decimal system preferred

       

    Hourly Rate/Classification/Hours:

     

    • $9.25 per hour

    • Part-time, Non-Exempt position, minimum 12-16  hours week

    Physical Demands/Work Environment:

    5PM Shift + 8% Shift Differential – Available as of 1/12/18
     
    8PM Shift + 10% Shift Differential – Available as of 1/12/18
     
    Distribution Coordinator:
    Shipping/Receiving and Order Picking/Pulling:
    Place incoming merchandise into inventory
    Conduct physical inventories as required
    Operate fork lifts to unload trucks.
    Performs additional duties as directed
     
    General knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc.  Equal to a high school diploma.
    Prior experience working in a distribution center a plus. Warehouse Certification and Operations Certification also a plus.
    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
    Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
    Must have a good attention to detail.
    Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.  
    Ability to work all overtime hours
     
    Hand helds, voice pick equipment, material handling equipment (to include items such as: hand truck, forklift/reach trucks, cherry pickers), stretch wrap machines, safety knives, safety harnesses, printers, Computers and Tablets

    Starting wage $14.00 an hr. with structured increases.

    No experience necessary but regular overtime will be required.

    Job Description:
     
    Tractor Trailer Driver- 3rd Shift 10% Shift Differential
     
    Drives a gasoline or diesel powered tractor-trailer combination (capacity over 26,001 pounds), usually long distance to transport and deliver medical and surgical products to customer location.
    Complies with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Company regulations, and policies
    Transports and delivers products in accordance with the routing schedules 
    Operates truck in difficult delivery situations
    Maintains current driving licenses and medical certificates required to operate assigned vehicle. 
    Utilizing a vehicle inspection check sheet, inspects truck for defects before and after operations. 
    Verifies count and condition of products loaded and unloaded, 
    May load or assist in loading and unloading trucks at origin and destination. 
    May assist in picking, wrapping, and stacking product on pallets. 
    Ensures good customer relations 
    Completes all documentation and manifests required to indicate proper shipment and receipt of product. 
    Removes boxes, pallets, and waste from vehicle after completion of shipments. Recovers pallets from customers and stacks pallets in proper storage location.
    May assist customer in placing stock in customer storage room. 
    May maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions. 
    May ensure that accounts receivable invoices are correct. 
    Performs additional duties as directed.
