The Village Hall and Police Station will be undergoing a partial demolition and full renovation, scheduled to be completed December 2018. During this two year renovation project, Village services have been re-located to a temporary facility at 505 E North Ave. the 500 N Gary Ave. location is now closed to the public.  You can follow us on facebook and twitter for regular construction updates. In addition many Village services will be available online including bill payments, some permit formsvehicle sticker purchasing, and more. Gather at the Ross Ferraro Town Center with family, friends and neighbors to celebrate our freedom on the evening of Tuesday, July 4th beginning at 7:00 pm when the Billy Croft & the 5 Alarm Band, Chicagoland’s renowned country rock group performs a 2-hour concert from the Town Center Gazebo stage.Their playlist includes hits from contemporary country rock legends such as Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Kenny Chesney, Johnny Cash, The Eagles, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Eric Church and Linda Ronstadt as well as their own countrified versions of classic Motown hits.  

Food Truck Row will open at 6:00 pm when Toasty Cheese, The Roaming Hog, Golden Eagle Hot Dogs, Mario’s Cart, Cup Cakes for Courage, and Culver’s Frozen Custard will serve their signature entrees including gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, BBQ, hot dogs, tacos, cupcakes, and frozen custard.  After the concert, the Village and the Carol Stream Park District will sponsor Fireworks choreographed to patriotic music that will begin at 9:20 pm sharp. Public viewing areas include Veterans Park, Mitchell Lakes and the Town Center grounds while Hampe Park due northwest of the Town Center is a restricted area and off limits for the viewing of fireworks.

On the July 4th holiday, the Police Department reminds residents that there will be no parking on the following streets from 7:00 am – 11:30 pm:

EAST SIDE: Boone Dr., Bowie Dr., and Idaho Tr. (N of Lies Rd.) 

ODD SIDE: Dearborn Cir. and Adler Ln. 

BOTH SIDES: Trevi Dr., Shaftesbury St., Fountain View Dr. (North of Lies) and Goldenhill St.

In addition, Lies Rd from Idaho Trl. east to Gary Ave. will be closed to through traffic that same evening from 7:00 -11:00 pm.  Signs indicating local traffic only for residents living in the area east of Kuhn Rd. will be in place prior to the road’s closure.  All other motorists should take North Ave. or Army Trail Rd. as an alternate route. Due to limited paved parking at the Ross Ferraro Town Center, the Village will provide shuttle service to and from posted parking lots along the Lies Rd. Industrial Corridor from 7:00 pm–10:30 pm.  Residents and the general public are encouraged to utilize the FREE shuttle service to remote lots.

The Carol Stream Village Hall and Police Department is located at 500 North Gary Avenue.The Village Hall is open M-F 8 - 5 and closed on Weekends. The Police Department is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. For emergencies, please call 911. For more information see our Departments pages
