Carol Stream Park District
The Park District maintains more than 40 parks and playgrounds many of which link to regional trail systems and nearby county forest preserves. Picnic shelters at seven larger, scenic parks are available to rent, as are garden plots at the beautiful Slepicka Park. In addition, the Park District manages the Coral Cove Water Park, Coyote Crossing Mini Golf, and two recreation centers.
DuPage County Forest Preserve
For over 100 years the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County has protected and improved the county's natural areas while providing quality educational and recreational experiences. We host more than 50 facilities with approximately 26,000 acres for wildlife and/or forest preservation.
Bike Paths and Trails
Carol Stream has over 23 miles of paths and trails that connect with parks, points of interest, and transportation hubs. One popular attraction, which runs through our Village, is the Great Western Trail offering 61 miles of hiking, biking, equestrian and nature paths.
