The Public Works Department maintains critical infrastructure and provides essential services to Village residents. The Public Works Department is organized in the following manner: 

The Street Division is responsible for snow and ice control, maintenance of Village streets and public sidewalks, storm water facilities, parkway trees and turf, and street lights and signs.

The Water & Sewer Division is responsible for operating and maintaining the drinking water system, including water storage tanks, water mains, hydrants and valves. They also maintain the waste water sanitary sewer collection system, including sewer mains and lift stations. This Division also maintains the underground portion of the storm water collection system.

The Garage Division oversees the maintenance of all Village-owned vehicles and equipment.

Administration oversees all departmental operations, administrative front-office staff and the contract operation of the Water Reclamation Center (WRC).
