Message From the Chief:

Welcome to the Carol Stream Police Department’s webpage.  I am privileged to serve both the residents of this Village and the men and women of this Department as your Chief of Police.  Having spent my entire law enforcement career with this agency, I can unequivocally say that you will not find a more dedicated group of law enforcement professionals that strive to provide the highest quality of public service to its community.

Within this site, you will find information about our Police Department and the services we provide.   We focus on ensuring continuous police services of the highest caliber with a 24/7 Patrol and Records Division.  Our award winning Traffic Safety Unit marries education, engineering, and enforcement to ensure the safest roadways possible for you and your family. While our Criminal Investigation Unit deploys a multitude of innovative methods to positively resolve criminal matters.  With assistance from our Social Service Unit and Community Relations Unit, we implement programs and strategies to foster trust and communication with our residents, so our services will always meet the needs of the Village.

As a Department whose mission is to set the standard for integrity and excellence, we also strive for transparency and honesty in all of our efforts.  We hold dear the partnership we have with our community, and look forward to finding new ways to enhance the quality of life for those who call the Village of Carol Stream home.
