Reflective signs with ID numbers have been installed on all of the Village’s streetlight poles. If you notice a streetlight that is out, on during daylight, or cycling on and off, please follow these steps:

• Document the pole number (see below for an example) and address (address or nearest intersection)
• Note the issue
• Call (630) 871-6260 to report the problem

Typically street light problems are resolved in just a few days. Please be aware that if there are a series of lights out, the problem may be due to an underground cable fault. Repairing these faults may require tracing and digging-up underground cable, which may take several weeks or more to diagnose and repair.

To report a traffic light issue:

• Document the traffic light's location (address or nearest intersection)
• Note the issue
• Call (630) 871-6260 to report the problem

To report damaged or obstructed traffic signs:

• Identify the sign's location (address or nearest intersection)
• Note the issue (knockdown, bent, graffiti, etc.)
• Call (630) 871-6260 to report the problem
